Rachael Lane was founded by mother and daughter duo, Charmaine and Jo- Ann Morris.

Charmaine, a writer and creative, was always intrigued by things handmade. When she was a child, memories of her mother receiving soaps from England was special, especially lavender soaps. These memories pushed Charmaine to experiment with soap making. Before long she began gifting these soaps to friends and family.

Around the same time, Jo-Ann, a lover of all things fragrant began experimenting with blending fragrance oils and creating her own candles in various containers that were also gifted to family and friends. These two hobbies, turned passion, turned into a leap of faith when Jo-Ann faced redundancy in 2019. Mother and daughter work together to design and produce handmade Jamaican luxury
home and body products.
